Tameka has been practicing dental hygiene for over seventeen years. She is passionate about oral health and improving dental health disparities. She has served in various roles from clinician, dental hygiene advisory board member, clinical educator, hygiene mentor, and iTero Integrations Specialist. She enjoys most collaborating with dental professionals to help lead practices and inspire clinicians toward providing the highest standard of care. She was selected for Power of One, leadership recognition for individuals exemplifying leadership and outstanding patient care. She was a Hygiene Director’s Club recipient for surpassing goals within her territory. She has been featured on ADHA #Member Monday and Hygienist Weekly. During a time of uncertainty, she founded Empower, RDH, a consulting company targeting dental hygiene clinicians, empowering and inspiring to elevate leadership, productivity, and patient experience. She is also, humbled and honored to serve as Secretary of the Georgia Dental Hygienists’ Association.
